S. Korean Gov’t to Speed Up ‘Converged Medical Instrument’ Development     

he South Korean government is planning to accelerate the development of medical instruments based on Industry 4.0 technology such as surgical robots, mobile healthcare devices, and artificial organs.

Minister of Environment Kim Eunkyung will attend the upcoming High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) held at U.N. headquarters from July 16 to 19 as the official Korean representative.

The ten selected emerging technologies are: ▶responsive housing technology ▶life log virtual assistant software technology ▶smart tattoo technology ▶soft robot technology ▶connected car technology ▶modular public transportation technology ▶wireless power transfer technology ▶smart farm technology ▶artificial intelligence security technology, and ▶mixed reality technology
